Angels are part of Heaven and reside there along with the Believers; not much is known of their exact role, but during the Ten Days of Judgement, they assist in administrative work and help Neons with their demonslaying duties.
They were the original residents of Heaven, before it was renamed from Sheol by the Believers; when the Believers overthrew God and remade the afterlife, they also wiped out a large portion of angels, and remaining living angels were placed into subservience to the Believers. The bodies of fallen angels were used to fashion explosive masks for Neons.
They themselves are immune to attacks from Demons. Their true forms are incomprehensible to Neons, and many see them in different forms; for example, Neon Red and Neon White see Mikey as a cat, while Neon Yellow sees him as John Cena.
The three named angels seen ingame are Gabby, Raz and Mikey, though there are others present in Heaven.
