Advanced Techniques[]
Neon White, just like any other game, has many various techniques for speedrunning that players can use to improve both their speed and their times; this is often shortened to "tech" by the speedrunning community.
This game is a special case, too - it's made for speedrunning, and so, it is natural that the playerbase will notice and discover a lot of about the game and its inner workings. There are many different quirks to look at - the behaviour of bullets shot by Demons, or the inner workings of the ingame timer, or even collision detection on certain features in levels, and many more which this wiki has yet to cover
Neon White speedrunner shovelclaws has written a guide on simple and advanced techiques alike; check it out if you want to learn more on the inner workings of the gameplay!
