Rushes are "rushes" of levels - levels in an unbroken sequence - that are unlocked upon reaching certain criteria. While they have no medal times, there still are leaderboards for them. There is a "shuffle level" option that allows the levels to be played in a random order.
There are two kinds of Rushes: Heaven Rushes and Hell Rushes, which feature the same levels, but different conditions. The general differences are:
Heaven Rushes[]
- Unlimited lives
- Unlimited restarts (for individual levels - though resets do not reset any timers)
- Health resets each level
Hell Rushes[]
- Only one life
- No restarts
- Health shared across levels
- Discard Katana to heal and spawn any card (only 3x per run)
There are five different Rushes: one for Neon White, one for Neon Violet, one for Neon Red, one for Neon Yellow, and one for Mikey, making for a total of 10 different rushes, each with their own leaderboard.
Neon White[]
White's rushes involve playing every single main story level of the game consecutively.
White's Heaven Rush is obtained after completing the game, and White's Hell Rush is obtained after viewing all memories, obtaining the Whole again achievement if on PC.
Neon Red[]
Red's rushes involve playing each of Neon Red's sidequests consecutively. They are obtained after viewing all of Red's memories, obtaining the Red achievement if on PC.
Neon Violet[]
Violet's rushes involve playing each of Neon Violet's sidequests consecutively. They are obtained after viewing all of Violet's memories, obtaining the Violet achievement if on PC.
Neon Yellow[]
Yellow's rushes involve playing each of Neon Yellow's sidequests consecutively. They are obtained after viewing all of Yellow's memories, obtaining the Yellow achievement if on PC.
Mikey[]
Mikey's rushes involve playing every single main story level of the game consecutively - but this time, all obtainable Soul Cards are replaced with the Dominion card.
Mikey's rushes are obtained after the player obtains all Aces on every Mission, obtaining the Straight A's achievement.
